Busy staff at Manor Farm care home found time to create some ‘lockdown projects’ for the residents, and have now unveiled the results. 

Staff members Al and Kerrie took advantage of the fine weather to create a ‘beach themed’ outdoor area, and also replanted the flower beds with a variety of herbs, flowers and plants. These were completed alongside their normal tasks, and are now ready for the residents and their families to enjoy during their socially-distanced visits. 

Jayne Haskins, Manager of Manor Farm, said, “We have managed to keep Manor Farm free of Covid-19 through strict hygiene control and no visitors for many weeks. Whilst this was happening we wanted to undertake some projects which the residents could watch and enjoy, and which they would also benefit from for many years to come.
